Chiara is a musician from Germany with Hungarian roots. Although neither of her parents are musicians themselves, her mother particularly wished to keep the door open for a musical career for her children. It soon became evident that Chiara would want to walk through that door as quickly as possible. Even before she could really speak, she was singing the English lyrics of Katie Melua in the car.
At the age of four, Chiara started taking piano lessons, but at eleven, she discovered the guitar for herself. Although she began her singing career in the children’s choir of the opera in her hometown Freiburg, where she was involved for many more years, she fell in love with rock music and bands like Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Fleetwood Mac and Metallica at a young age. In her youth, she played in cover bands and did a lot of street music with her sister and friends.
At eighteen, she began uploading videos of herself, covering popular songs by singing and playing various instruments on YouTube and making connections in the cover scene. She regularly collaborated with various YouTube stars, and today her channel has over 50,000 subscribers and her videos receive numerous views.
Starting in 2021, she studied at the renowned Popakademie in Mannheim, where she founded her rock band ‘Caravel,’ with which she now writes and releases her own music, inspired by her idols.
Additionally, she works as a session musician and performs professionally on stage, for example with concert series like ‘Rock the Opera,’ which has already toured with Joe Lynn Turner and Ian Paice, or with other Productions and cover formations, but of course also with her own band‚ Caravel‘.
